Been ages since I played GTA Online, 2 years maybe. Never really bothered with PvP just did the missions and heists etc in private co-op with pals. Did have a lot of fun especially when we got rich enough to argue over who's helicopter we were going to use :D

I see no appeal in a free for all open world though that appealed to a lot of people from what I saw back then.

As someone mentioned I can see ranches , stables etc being a step up from tents and something to grind towards.

Or you get to own a bar where fights break out every night.

I read a leak yesterday that there would be lots of info this week, thought it was just another YouTube spoofer. Hopefully this will have some gameplay.

It's grand, it's hard to take much from these trailers anymore to be honest.

But, it's a Rockstar game, so I'm excited for it anyway!

    Is the release date new?

Other than a when it's set 1899 I don't think there's really anything new from that.

Confirmation John is in the game and still in the gang was what I took from it.

It looks so much better graphically I was unsure if that was John until someone mentioned it tbh :o

Looks like we'll see how he got the scars.

Wasn't he in the last trailer?

Never played RDR for some reason, now that there's a 4K XB1X version out I think it'd be a good time to give it a go!

It's a good game but I played it years ago. I also bought it again on Xbox One and it is a bit dated but you get used to it. But if you never played it I would recommend it.

After playing GoW, that trailer didn't excite me any. It just doesn't look as good, which I know it won't, and it's still a Rockstar game so it will be good, but GoW is going to be very hard to beat imo.

It looks fantastic, playing the undead nightmare DLC now for the first time.

It's a completely different kind of game though.

It's a fantastic game. Actually took me three tries to get into it as I'd play it for an hour or two and just wasn't feeling it. But I pushed through and was so glad I did. Once you get into it, it's just an amazing experience.

Apart from the "Tap A to run" thing, who ever thought that was a good idea should have been dragged behind a horse through a sandpaper factory.

The amount of RSI pain I got from that was incredible.

I didn't bother watching the trailer, would love to see some gameplay now of what the world looks like, map size etc.

I doubt we'll get any gameplay trailers until July or August as with the first RDR although IGN and some other game journalist got to sit down with their team in Edinburgh for a 40 minute preview last month or so and they will be releasing more details of that this afternoon about 3.

Damn, I'm sick of trailers at this point and want to see the world they've built.

Oh I know, and it does look good for a game of it's size and scale, but the shine of GoW is still very strong, and the graphics rightfully don't match up. Coming from GoW, it looks like a decrease in quality, but I know it's not going to be, it's just impossible to have such a polished look on a massive open world game.

Just making a comment, as I thought this would be more exciting for me, but GoW is still firmly in my mind as the game to be beaten this year!

Not the most revealing feature without any new media content. How the horse is implemented & hunting is interesting I guess
