Return to Amazon Germany

Hi there,

I returned an order from Amazon Germany back to their returns centre in Bad Hersfeld last week, and according to the courier tracking it arrived on Tuesday.
Amazon however have not received it according to their own records, so I'm wondering if anyone else has returned something to Amazon.de and if so, how long it took to get a refund.

I'm a bit worried as whenever I've returned stuff to Amazon in the past it normally is refunded the same day as it arrives in their return centre. I have insurance on the courier delivery but if it has delivered to the correct address then that's no use to me.

I had similar issue with Amazon.es, it took them about a week or more from the date it showed as delivered to the date they scanned as received.

I just got an email that my refund was issued today. It seems there is a backlog of returns in the Bad Hersfeld processing centre in Germany.
