Looks like capcom and Iam8bit have joined forces to produce 30th Anniversary playable carriages of Mega Man 2 for the NES and Megaman X for the NTSC SNES:

    MM2_STOREIMG_SET_large.png?v=1525135193

A bit pricey at $100 but limited to 8500 copies of each and they ship in September.

What's the advantage of that cart over my original Megaman 2 cart for the PAL Nes?

    Not enough for me!

I'll probably sell MM2 and get Rockman 2 instead, so my collected titles from the 8 bit series all match!

    It's a mini candy SC-19????

Ahhh why couldn't it be something **** so I wouldn't have to buy it?!

Pity they didn't go for a 7" screen instead of the 3.5". But depending on what hardware is inside I think i might go for it anyway.

If the screen is only 3.5 it's going to be far smaller than I'd originally thought :(

First thoughts are that the screen is far too small to interest me. 3.5" is even smaller than a standard phone screen now.

The joystick is going to tiny too if those specs and design image are accurate. It seems to have HDMI out but with that, I think I'd prefer it to have no screen and a bigger joystick.

It'll be closer in size to a tabletop game like Astro Wars than an bartop.
But looking at the pics the screen looks like a 4:3 3.5" lcd. Hard to find them these days so if thats true it will seem bigger than a widescreen 3.5".

Hopefully too a controller port or most of those games are going to get really boring all on one's lonesome

Seen as there's a few Star Wars fans here, here's an Irish fan made short film from the perspective of the Stormtroopers thats about 15 minutes long.

It was filmed in Cork, Waterford and Tipperary and as far as fan made flicks of Star Wars go, its the best one out there imo.

A bit of a weird question maybe, but its retro related in that I want to store retro stuff on it :)

Does anyone have one of the below Billy bookcase corner units? And if so could i use it upside down? I need the reverse of what they have, and flipping it over is the easiest way to do it.

dont think you would need to flip it would you? just put the corner piece on the opposite side? it looks like just 3xnormal billy bookcases with one corner unit that should be swapable to the right side?

if you click the "9 packages" you can see its just 3 billy bookcase, a skinnier one and the corner brackets, so id say its swapable to the opposite side.
