Why am I seeing people with the same name as my existing 'friends' on Facebook?

Yesterday, I starting seeing suggestions for friends 'People you may know' on Facebook, who have the same name as my existing friends. Except, they are completely different people, with the same name. I have seen it more than once in a one day period. Did this ever happen to anyone else?? :eek:

I've been suggested to follow people of my own name on Twitter before but not to add on Facebook. I reckon some of the time the Facebook algorithm is 'chancing it's arm' by adding names you have in your contacts that may or may not be the same people.
