My friend is interested in applying for a job on a six month fixed term contract. However he is not sure what "Six month fixed term contract" means. My friend is interested in applying for a job on a six month fixed term contract. However he is not sure what "Six month fixed term contract" means. For example does it mean he will accumulate paid holiday time? Will he be on a fixed hourly rate with the amount he is paid each week dependent on the number of hours he actually works, or will weekly pay be fixed irrespective of whether he works more than 39 hours?
