Yeah, I think it's just one guy that does it so he usually just does one game at a time.

More fool you for wanting to watch Stoke Burnley :P

A decent free hit has me in the heavy heights of top 500. Season can’t end soon enough, I’ll take that now!

Ederson on potentially taking a penalty for Man City -“If Pep (Guardiola) asks me to take it, I'm there. I'd like to score” https://t.co/60tUCI2uRT

Kompany moves up front last 5 minutes yday too

Accidentally bought Lacazette instead of Auba last weekend. Best mistake I ever made!

Ederson seems the only City player nailed on, I know they demolished Swansea last week, but had 5 separate goalscorers with KDB and Sterling taken off. Sane probably starts next week, but hard to see anyone other than Ederson and maybe Jesus starting the DGW.

Even then you've have Bravo to worry about.
Officially need 5 appearances to get winners medal , he's made 1 appearance with 4 games to go.

That rule was scrapped, teams now get 40 medals to do as they please

    It wasn't scraped. https://www.premierleague.com/news/60148

Every one who makes 5 appearances gets a medal, club gets to give them out to who they want after that but they won't be officially a premier league winner. See Mark Schwarzer for example squad member for 2 title winners but not officially a title winner by the premier leagues.

    It's in that link....
"Leicester will receive 40 commemorative medals, with players to have featured in at least five league matches this season to receive one each on the podium after the match."

Anyone with 5 appearances gets one, after that the club can do what they want. They'll definitely give one to the lad who's been in the squad 38 weeks out of 38

Wonder will Salah be listed as a striker next.

Doubt I’ll be willing to pay the 15 million he’ll probaly cost regardless.

I don't think they will. Plenty of others who have been playing as part of a front 3 for years and haven't been changed to forwards.

Wonder if Milner will be restored to a midfielder.

Arnoutovic should be a striker next season.

They do seem quicker to move players between defence and midfield I guess with those players it's a lot clearer exactly where they are playing whereas further forward its not as clear these days compared to when everyone played 442. Another reason they probably don't like moving players forward as much is they know the more points people score the more interested they'll be.

Remember when we all excited about Milner being a defender and how we were all going to have him :pac:

Arnie May not even still be a striker by next week if Andy Carroll is fit
No way he should be reclassified based on 10 games or so

I’d say Milner will defo be listed as a midfielder but Arnie will be harder to call.

I think Salah will be a striker next year. Remember Firmino was a midfielder last year.

Firmino was playing as an out and out striker though. Salah more a winger

I think the difference there is that firmino is playing centrally whereas salahs starting position is from wide.

I think they'd only reclassify players playing in that sort of more traditional centre forward spot not the more wide forwards we see a lot now.

If they're unsure they could always use price changes to value a player. If Salah remains a mid then his price has to show it. If they keep these midfield "wing backs" as defenders then you should expect to pay a lot more far beyond the traditional prices of defenders in the game if that player is suitable.

Salah won't be a striker next year unless they completely change how they classify players.

Wide forwards in a front 3 have always been mids and that's where Salah has played every game bar the odd very small spell in the odd match.

If they change Salah they'll have to do Sanchez, Sterling, Sane etc...

The classification system may be out of date, as it's very much based on an old school 4-4-2 where your wingers / wide players were there mostly just to cross the ball and your fullbacks there mostly just to defend.

However I think it works fne and adds the OOP edge. Any reclassification would be very tricky and you'd have to add more than 4 core positions and start going into areas like "attacking midfielder" or "wing back" which would just make things overly complex.

Salah will just be priced very highly, my guess is probably 13.5

If salah was a fwd he would end up doing better in the bonus pts calculation but would obviously be losing a pt per goal and the clean sheet bonus.

Arnautovic will be reclassified imo (and rightly so). He's played more matches CF than anywhere else according to this: https://www.whoscored.com/Players/34693/Show/Marko-Arnautovic

Good to have more middling options in the Striker position, it's been cheapy or premium pretty much the whole season

I was thinking about Arnie and as per your previous post he is listed as a midfielder from his Stoke days.

If Moyes leaves in the summer then we could see Arnie back out on the left next season but listed as a striker so a poor OOP.

If Carroll stays fit he’ll play in the centre next season with Arnie on the left and maybe Antonio on the right.

It would be a shame as he’d only be in 2-3% of teams if listed as a striker.

Edit - so will Rashford be listed as a midfielder next season ?
