    Hello,

Having recently sold my 2012 a5 coupe black edition I'm looking to upgrade to an audi a6 s line preferably the black edition 2015 facelift model but not essential with the s tronic box or the Mercedes CLA 220 amg sport, ive never driven a merc before so I cant compare, has anybody here driven both? is there much of a difference in the auto boxes?.

The suspension on the a5 was pretty tough is the a6 similar? is the suspension softer in the standard S line version?. Tried to find a review comparing both cars online but cannot find one.. thanks.

I don’t know if you know they’re tiny? They’re an A3 saloon rival.

Are you confusing cls with cla merc?
The cls would be same size as A6 alright.

CLA is miles smaller than the A6. Have an A6 myself. Smashing car.

Meant 4 door CLA. New it would be smaller just not that much. Does anyone now if black edition is a harder ride than the s line?.thanks

But they’re in completely different segments. CLA is MASSIVELY smaller. Your question is exactly the same as if you asked “I’m thinking of buying a new car, should I get a BMW 5 series or a 1 series?” Those 2 models are direct competitors to the A6 and CLA.

Black edition has 20" alloys. I have it and it's fine for me, but I like a firm ride :pac:

Haha might be better in the a6. Hope the S tronic is nice to drive.

The CLA is an awful ugly looking yoke, especially the back (IMO).

The CLA is very small on the inside, it's based on the A Class.

I have the A6 SLine with 20" Alloys and its much smoother ride than the A3 SLine saloon i had which was very hard on the road.I would recommend the S Tronic lovely smooth drive with the auto

It's good. Occasionally can catch it out a touch at roundabouts.... but overall a smashing car.

Sorry for dragging this up again but doesn't anyone know what the 150ps engines are like? Offered a good deal on s line one but think it will be well underpowered?

Have the 190 and it feels good to me. Plenty torque when needed, and actually a little too much without quattro when taking off quickly. 150 is probably pushing it a bit but I'm sure for pottering around and motorway cruises it would be ok.
