Roomba 960 + Amazon echo €647 plus addresspal

Good deal on Amazon at the moment on the roomba 960. (966 everywhere else but Amazon)

It's reduced on Amazon at the moment by £200 which drops it to £599 but they also have a promotion on to add in an Amazon Echo 2nd generation which actually drops price too £569.99.

You can only use addresspal as it won't ship with parcel motel and parcel wizard.

Using revolt card it will come to about €647 plus your addresspal charge x2 (echo ships seperatly)

It's £568 for just the Roomba on Tesco.com website.

Roomba 980 is £850 for very little improvement according to some reviews.

You could use the same logic and say that the Roomba 960 is £570 with very little improvement compared to the Xiaomi Mi Robot. :P

With the Xiaomi? Seems like you can - Google Home, Amazon Echo, needs some work either way though.

Well no, I compared the same brand, you didn't. The Mi can't manage thick carpet according to some websites.

My plan is to return the Echo and get a refund for another 100 off.

I did compare the same product though. And the Xiaomi can do stuff that the Roomba can't.

Either way though, if you've your heart set on the Roomba, I don't think the price jump from the Roomba 650 is justified.

Awesome piece of kit, and the first version can be found for less than €300
