Won't be voting, happy to repeal the 8th, not happy with handing over future laws to spotty teenagers on fine geal front bench and modern Irelands weird version of liberalism.

Well maybe wear a balloon next time some poor unfortunate facilitates ya

You wouldn't be condoning the use of contraception now would you??? Sure that kills millions of living sperm, is this not an issue for 'pro-lifers'!!! Such hypocrisy!

Ps, I'd imagine condoms are a better bet than balloons, but sure if you're stuck I suppose.

Could be, I don't know what you're using the pictures for!

I don't agree that a fetus is a human being, but if you do then I honestly find it strange that you don't have an issue with people erecting pictures of naked babies (by your own definition, not mine). What the fúck like?
Is a naked baby an offensive thing to you? Why? What’s offensive about an unborn baby? I know it’s a shock to see that the “clump of cells” or “fetus” is in fact after all actually a little human being but is it really offensive?

leaving aside the fetus / baby question, under what circumstances would a woman be refused an abortion under the proposed legislation, where it will be allowed without any reason being given?

I would defer to NuMarvel and similar for answering this as they are more articulate and informed when it comes to the legal side of this issue. I stick to the science and philosophy side of it.

But crossing a threshold time wise, underlying medical issues that would exacerbate the risks involved in abortion, would be the kinds of things I would say example the restrictions.

I don't know, I think most people take a dim view of child pornograhy, appartently not yourself, sure fair enough, each to their own.

For you why is it ok if they are 4 and 2 ?

Why is it not ok if they are 14 and 12 ?

So if you see a friend/family/co workers photos of small children you only see them in a sexual light?
    Ok.

You left out the naked part. Kinda makes a big difference.
Why you would want pics of naked children of any age is beyond me. Least of all other people's children

    Ok.

I can't understand why you condone the erecting of naked baby pictures (by your own definition) across Ireland, I mean say you had a newborn baby, would you start puting naked pictures of the poor child up across the country??

Nell McCafferty who is voting for repeal has compared abortion to the mass slaughter at the Somme in WW1.

    But I didn’t say 12 and 14.because their not 12 and 14.
it is your opinion that any loving auntie with treasured photos of precious small nieces having fun in the bath and who live far away is some kind of sexual deviant?
There’s no depths you won’t go to to be right in this argument about what is and isn’t a human being.
    Well done.

Hahahaha there's no MAYBE about it, I haven't a notion what you're on about, but like I said it's been fun.

Anyway, let's go back to basics, what is your position on abortion?

I don't think MURDERING BABIES ON DEMAND is a joking matter..
Mod note: Blahblah2012, you need to dial back on the rhetoric here. A lot! Tone down your comments, please, this is a discussion site, not an online shouting contest.

They’re my nieces. My flesh and blood. If you see a sexual angle to your own flesh and blood then that’s for you to deal with. I can’t help you.

If their your nieces you can get all the pics you want with clothes on.
You can try and deflect all you want, your the one with pics of naked children on your phone.
Just because people see a problem with that doesn't really support you view that those same people see their family members in a sexual way.
What a very bizarre arguement to try and make.

Children are most likely to be targeted for abuse by a family member.

Not that I for one second am trying to insinuate anything here but having naked pictures of your nieces and nephews might not be a great idea.

Do you want to call the Gardai? TUSLA?
    Are you offended ? Repulsed?
I suppose if your obsessed with women’s bodies and the contents of their wombs then it shouldn’t surprise me that you can cast a sexual deviancy angle on anything really.
Instead of just seeing children playing you see some kind of perversion.
But go ahead and judge me, please.

Oh I like that analogy, abortion is mass slaughter like in the Somme, and what's a miscarriage then, would it be friendly fire, like say when you accidently throw a grenade at you're own lads.

    Analogies are fun :-)

Oh no. Don’t be coy. clearly you feel that my brother should not take pictures of his tiny children having fun in the bath to send to his sister , their aunt, for fear that I’ll sell them to a paedophile.
And all this to justify the outrage at the pictures of unborn babies on posters on lampposts.
