Installing bathroom sink basin waste, drain pipe now too short to connect

    Hi guys,

I removed an old rusted basin waste and trap from a bathroom sink to replace them.

Both the new trap and new basin look a fraction smaller than their predecessors, a few mm each which is leading to the gap between the trap and the drain.

Can anyone recommend something to bridge the gap?

Something I could pick up in Woodies, B & Q, etc.

    Thanks.

Foe Woodies, easiest would be a 32mm flex coupling and small tub of pipe weld glue. Cut a section from the existing pipe, splice in flexi connection and a small length of the pipe you cut to connect to the trap. 12€ should get you out.
