    I don't know, I'd be a bit worried.
    How did you pay?

Well, hopefully that means, if they fail to deliver, you can claim the money back

Cheaper to buy a raspberry pi and some wireless controllers.

I would recommend messaging and posting on their Facebook page. Sometimes that finally gets someone to respond to emails and calls

Hey lads, I asked on here a couple of weeks ago for advice on a cake maker to do a Sonic themed cake for a 30th.
My friends partner got sorted and it turned out pretty well.
There was originally 30 rings on it but folk started picking before I took the photo

Cakes by Ruth, down by the marina I think.
Good few people were impressed by it. There's another couple talking about getting a cake with a Rossi Lid on it for a wedding.
Wouldn't be my thing but whatever makes em happy :)

A new Sakura Taisen game is a massive deal for Japan. The series on Saturn was huge propelling the voice cast to fame and ensuring the Saturn did well in Japan against the PS1.

Disappointed to see atgames mentioned for the mini to be honest, but maybe they'll surprise us.

    Giggling at that, omg.
Sorry just copied it over, didn't bother changing it.

More than likely, but if the internal hardware is cheap/rubbish to begin with, no amount of software hacking will change that.

    @tgames....
    Interest waning.
Less a game of wait and see
More a game of wait and see how they screw this up.

I would have liked SEGA themselves to do the job with the Mini like Nintendo did with their consoles.

They should've just got Nintendo to do it for them!
For all the talk of newness about this little MD we've heard it before and been disappointed, but not surprised, when they wound up dreadful.
The surprise will be if this worth getting.
The games list will be the give away, if it's the same selection as @tgames previous pitiful efforts.

I'm very happy with the announcement of Shenmue remastered. It's always good to see the fans get what they've been requesting and hopefully this will have a few Quality Of Life improvements made for the newcomers such as myself, who struggled greatly with the original:o

I initially thought there was only a Genesis Flashback sold in the US, and not an MD in Europe.

I kind of hope that ATGames have the ambition to deliver something good after getting lambasted by the press so much in the past. The hardware you need to do decent Mega Drive emulation must be cheap as chips at this point. It really requires they be a bit stupid to deliver a bad product in this day and age and I can get a MD2 clone from china for 15 euro so hopefully if Sega are choosing to put some distribution and marketing muscle behind the product they'll be setting a certain quality bar because while they licence a lot of **** out they do have a decent standard with their own products generally speaking.

    Saw this on Twiiter
You can't lose the console war if you don't have a console.

Have no faith in ATGames, frankly. Would actually argue they're doing more to hurt the Megadrive's legacy than continue it as this stage. Boot up one of their clonesles and you'll be greeted with awkward inputs, washed out images and a soundchip filtered through screaming depths of hell. Anyone buying them (or, I'm guessing, gifted one cause the SNES Mini was outta stock) will probably just shrug and go "I guess these old games just don't hold up."

Looks like the Megadrive Mini will be using Picodrive, a no frills, lightweight Megadrive emulator - https://github.com/notaz/picodrive/issues/70

Strange Sega is cheaping out on it when they go out of their way to hire M2 to do most of their emulation work. Pity. Played Streets of rage 1 and 2 on Retroarch at the weekend with a friend and it just wouldn't be the same without that gorgeous soundtrack ruined with crappy emulation.

Reading those M2 interviews I'd say the quality of the ports says more about their passion for the original games than any great deal of support on Sega's part. Those guys really go the extra mile.
