Absolutely loving Money Heist. Only on episode 4 now, hoping it doesn't start turning crappy as it goes on. I'm a little bit in love with some of the characters and I love the fact that not only do I not know what's going to happen, I don't even know what I want to happen.

I'd recommend watching it subtitled rather than dubbed.

    Too Late (Movie) is class.

Private investigator tries to track down the murderer of a erotic dancer.

This film is brilliant and well worth a watch.

It jumps back and forth from many different time frames and had me a little confused at times but it all comes clear in the last ten minutes or so.

It actually reminded a little of Pulp Fiction.

Excellent documentary and get The Chronic onto your playlist asap.

I liked 2001 also, but couldn’t find TheChronic on Amazon Music for whatever reason.
i think I had outgrown my gangsta rap phase when my musical choice consisted of whichever cds in HMV had “parental advisor” written on,ice T, Ice Cube, Bodycount, mid to late 90s so missed all of this stuff.

I think it’s fair to say “ a bad day for the cut” is not ideal Sunday morning viewing !!!!!!!

Very good though and well made

Chef's Table Season 4 out now lads. I'm not finding it as good as the previous season's but still great viewing. A warning though, the food critics in it are pretentious as ****.

Just finished bingeing on 'The Killing'...The American version.
It was totally addictive, in spite of being frustrating, disturbing...at times.
The Holder/Linden relationship was riveting. I loved both actors; Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos Hanna.
All Characters were portrayed well and engaging.
The finale in season 4, tied it all together nicely... and eased the big 'comedown' that happens when a favourite series ends.
It was the kind of series one thought about during the day.
Can't remember if the Danish version was as good...

I guess all things come to an end :(

It's very very good but Forbrydelsen is superior IMO.

Agree, apart from the silly ending of season 3.

Not sure when Operation Odessa was added but was flicking through and stuck it on without knowing anything about it, would highly highly reccomend. It’s a really entertaining, funny crime/drugs documentary, similar style to The Seven Five, little bit light on content but the characters in it really make up for it

The first series of The Killing (Danish) remains the high watermark of long form television for me. Have never had much interest in sampling the US version.

Yeah it's a film I stumbled upon while browsing through the titles and didn't know what to expect, I never heard of it and it's not rated too highly on IMDb so I was very pleased on the outcome.

I watched it last night on the recommendation of this thread. It's alright, the actors are mostly actors I like and the really long scenes are interesting.

I've been recommended Counterpart. It's a 10 part series. Is that on Netflix/Amazon Prime? A friend of mine really enjoyed it.

People seem to be raving about it.....I have watched the first two and havent got back since so cant say it totally hooked me despite an interesting premise and JK Simmons.

for people who watched wild wild country

I've watched two episodes of French & Saunders having seen some of their newer stuff and clip shows. Really enjoying it and the theme is annoyingly catchy. Also noticed that A Bit of Fry & Laurie is up there which I love.

Started Californication last night. Always remember it being on TV but never seen a single episode before last night. Seems promising.

I'm also having to stay up late to watch Altered Carbon as the OH hates sci-fi

    Struggling through Too Late here.

It’s kind of like a very good film made by students. Wouldn’t add to the previous recommendations for it.

Californication is a brilliant show. Hank and Runcle are brilliant characters. Enjoy it, you won't be disappointed.
