Does anyone know how reliable the 185 bus to Powerscourt from Bray DART station is?
How long does the journey typically take?

And can anyone explain which of the buses on this timetable actually goes to Powerscourt? I find it quite hard to understand.

Is it just: 09:45, 10:45, 11:45 etc? I'm trying to get there for 9am so I think I'm gonna have to take one of the earlier ones to Enniskerry and walk.
Thanks.

can't vouch for reliability but it appears the services marked "c" or "t" go to Powerscourt. For the other services you'd have to get off in Enniskerry village and walk up to the estate. Timetable reckons 30 mins which sounds about right.

The 44 could easily be extended to serve Powerscourt Gardens. What do you guys reckon?

Alternatively, a 44P bus specifically for Powerscourt?

Perhaps, hourly!

The regular 44 is only once an hour!

Powerscourt is only a short walk from Enniskerry Village

To the house and gardens themselves from the front gate it's only a very short walk. A regular service DB bus would not usually run on private property.

Is there a footpath all the way?

That road up to the Powerscourt estate would need a quare bit of work done to it to take a city bus service. It would be a nice idea for the weekends but it would eat into working timetables no end without extra buses and drivers allocated to the routes in question. As regards the 44B, it has it's areas that it needs to serve so changing it isn't an option.
