    I wonder if it was the B of Ireland.
    Going by the way they treat their customers, and from what I've seen of the way the local branch staff are treated, I'd not be suprised at the lack of care shown to an employee for over-taxing work loads.

    If there's anything I've learned in working life, it's that HR departments are of absolutely no use whatsoever for employee welfare issues. They are in my experience purely to protect the company from employee risk of any manner.

    She took it on herself to write in the margin "this bonus is not guaranteed" even though they never asked either way
