    We also invented devices to brush long hair, and devices to hold aforesaid long hair back - are the makers of these devices no less deserving?

    Uggghhhh!!

    This is just turning into a 'Hear me RoaR!!!' Thread.
    This soooo belongs in PI, theres already a thread there..

    I was growing my hair back there a tad, but it was more a fluffly, shaggy growth as oppose to long. I liked it when it was dry for a while and not fluffy but it was just hell when I showered, looked like a twat.
    So I got a 2 back and sides and its just much better for me. Showers are much easier, no hassle after and I dont get all sweaty/itchy when playing soccer. I might grow it longer in winter when its cold. But for now go 'crew cut'!!



    P.s get haircuts you hippies, you'll never amount to anything!

    Guys criticise their mates for having long hair because they hate when they see a long head of hair swishing back and forth ahead of them up the street, and then speed up walking to get a good look at this obvious fox (maybe she has nice boobies!) and once they catch up on their target, its a rocker dude with long flowing locks and a goatee,

    the disappointment and embarrassment is too much, so they give grief to people in the hope it'll happen less in future!

    Hey everyone

    Well i'm tall 6'4, with dark hair. My hair has always been short, but i've always wanted to grow it, which i'm doing now.
    I just don't look good with short hair, so i'm going to try long! :)

    I think hair all depends on the what the person looks like.

    I don't think Vin Diesel would look good with long hair, but then again I thought Tom Cruise looked better like it was in MI2 than having it shaved off / short.

    Just my opinion :)

    So what if its dragged up? Better than starting a new thread surely?

    Just to stay on topic (never saw this thread before).
    I don't like long hair on most guys, especially young guys. it just looks greasy and horrible. Some men can really pull it off and it looks really cool but personally i don't like it on blokes.

    Women with long hair tho...totally different story :D
    (maybe thats why i dont like long hair on guys, who knows)

    A) Nothing wrong with long hair, on men or women

    B) Billy Connelly has long hair and women love him

    C) Its not a statement, unless you are making one by it.

    D) Do keep it clean, unwashed hair is just 'orrible

    E) It looks great on women of any age. Short hair is wrong, so very wrong on women. Just is.

    I have 2 years of growing put into my hair now. I dont get much hassle, and I really dont care what other people think, its just that Im trying to get a professional job atm and I cant help but feel that people are put off by my appearance. This type of discrimination sucks, cause I work quite hard, and I fail to see why people even take this into consideration. Its not like im going to be a dfferent person if I cut my hair.

    Women must have long hair. It's the law. Women always cut their hair when they get married. Why do you think blokes are so afraid to get married?

    Anyway, I have long hair, down between my shoulder blades. Been growing it for three years. Didn't like short hair, didn't suit me, had short hair to try and fit in. Never happened so I basically said screw this, I'm doing what I want. Didn't get any stick from home cos my older brother has long hair but the amount of monkeys that just hurl abuse at me cos of my hair is unbelieveable. It really p1sses me off. I just try not to hear them. The sooner I rule the world, the sooner the purifying can begin. Who's with me?

    i have no problem wiv long hair on blokes as long as its not in a pony tail. i had long hair about 3 years ago myself but that was cos lots of the continental footballers had it not cause of music tastes or anything

    I've had long hair for the last 12 years. It got 2 cuts (to bob - yes that sucks - I hated it so much) due to job pressure when I was younger. Before the first cut it was really long, and its never quite managed to get back to its old glory.

    But why the hell was it always female bosses that always had the problem, and AFAICS it was not that it was actually a problem, it was that they just didn't like long hair on men. One of the places I worked was a bank, and one of the directors (man) used to call me the "long hair chappy". He didn't give a toss. It was one of the p1ss assed female bosses that didn't like it.

    Ok, maybe I'm just too used to it now, 'cos I was never into metal, more early 70s rock, and some of the early 90s Indy rock (forget the 80s :D), and I'm not trying to make a statement. When I have to wear a suit (seldom) for work, I look like a drug dealer :D, but no job is going to get my hair cut again. The third and final cutting is reserved for that special woman :eek: or if/when the bald spots start to appear :eek::eek:

    I've often wondered what I'd look like with long hair. When it was long enough to have a parting, it was horrible, I tend to keep a 4blade all over now and it really does suit me. I have really curly hair, so I keep thinking I'd look daft with long hair.

    I can't believe that anybody with half a brain has a problem with men having long hair nowadays. There's always the muppet brigade who are threatened when someone breaks out from a stereotype but life is too short to pay attention to such imbeciles.

    I'm midway at the moment, my hair is currently in afro mode, kept in check only by wax and never drying my hair (the hair settles).

    Any girls i've know love my hair :) . And I didn't get any stick for it after I laughed at all the pokes at me.

    Except on LC night when a freestyle rapper decided to focus on me and my "curls", as happens with the wax :p .

    short hair on women isnt to bad if it suits them. i know a few with short (not shaved but kind of long short) and it looks great. but when it doesnt suit them its just horrible

    I looked very effeminate with long hair and it attracted a lot of unsolicited ghey attention. So I swiftly came to the decision of chopping it off. No longer am I called "sk8ter boi", "George Harrison" or even "Rudd van Nistleroyy" by random knackers.
