Teaching in Northern Ireland with Irish Qualifications?

I’m going to Maynooth University to get a degree in Science Education. After 5 years I will have a BSc in Education and a PME which will bring me up to a level 9.

If after graduating I couldn’t find work in Ireland, or I found a good opportunity elsewhere, would it be possible to teach in Northern Ireland / Mainland UK with these qualifications or would I have to complete another diploma/certificate?

No you should be fine. Register with the General teaching council for Northern Ireland and they'll help you get enhanced clearance (vetting). Much smoother process than in the republic.
