Disposing of Heating Oil in Cork

    Hi

    Had an issue with my oil boiler and had to drain a couple of litres of dirty oil from the tank.
    Need to dispose of this, but anyone know how- can it be taken to a recycling centre?

    Recycling centres will take it, usually with no fee.

    My local centre no longer takes it. Instead I pour it into their waste food bin when I'm disposing of my food waste. Only suitable for small quantities - one or two litres - really.

    (BTW Cooking oil must not be mixed with waste engine oil.)
