The cards are probably expired ie they have lost their entitlements , are you getting any message like wrong card etc.? As they are uk cards and as you now have irish epg I am assuming those boxes are HD boxes. A new software update for hd boxes is being rolled out as well and that may have scuppered cards. You can leave them in the boxes for a few days and they may update but you may have missed the current update and in that case it will take a month. The cards may have just expired as well ie replaced. You can get new ones on adverts ie. By the way its not freeview its freesat, I know what you mean but best to get lingo correct. Freeview is the name of the UK terrestail service ie by aerial like our saorview. Say if you are getting a message onscreen.
