Scooter are the soundtrack to my adolescence. They were massive around the mid nineties. I'd actually love to go to this, although everyone would probably be off their bean.

Loads of yokes, jokes and smokes. If they were playing around the corner from me I'd go, but youtube will do.

    Hold tight posse

Would he still be popular among the “unwell” demographic as joe Duffy calls them.

It used to be him, bob Marley and Aslan.

Nessaja was my fave chooon as an early teen. You’d ring my phone and it’d go straight to voicemail with “Always lived my life alone,
Been searching for the place called home.
I know that I've been cold as ice,
Ignored the dreams, too many lies.
Somewhere deep inside, Somewhere deep inside me,
I found ... the child I used to be
And I know that it's not too late
    Never too late...
    3 AM!!!!!!!”

    This is a great story.

They were performing at a UK festival back in the day. A young artist went on before them and absolutely bombed on stage, forgot the words etc. The poor guy was in bits afterwards thinking he just blew his big opportunity.

After Scooter wowed the crowd they came backstage and spotted the young artist packing away his guitar. He had stayed for the show. They gave him a few words of encouragement and even invited him to open for them in Hamburg the following week.

The guy stole the show performing all of his own songs. Afterwards he was picked up by a record label and went on to have an amazing career which he forever credited Scooter for.

That artist turned out to be no other than...

    Eric Clapton!

You can still hear the influence in his lyrics!

Eric Clapton who was in 60s super band Cream- when Scooter probably weren't even born?

In fairness, Scooter have been around a lot longer than that.

Oh man, Honda Civics with sh*tty body kits, and a "No Fear" sticker on the back window driven by a skinny guy in an Adidas tracksuit with a name like Nipper or Blades.

Bad haircut and a gold earing on the left ear because the right ear would mean you are gay.
