Anyone have one of these? I'm in the process of saving up for one but as they cost €2400 I wouldn't mind a bit of owner insight. Plenty of forums online for this kinda thing but just thought I'd throw it out here too.

    Thanks!

My brother has one, and so far so good. However, he only has it a few months so very early days. It does seem to be a very well built machine, and has some nice touches, like the shot timer in the PID display. It has a two hole steam tip, and the quality of the microfoam it produces is excellent.

Comparing it to my own Expobar Leva, the build quality seems far better and little things like steam/water levers are nice (but functionally identical really).

Seems like a beast. Do you think it's a bit overkill or would you go for one yourself?

I'm almost certain to go for the new Mechanika Slim which would satisfy my needs but a part of me is thinking that I should just go for the Synchronika and that'd be a machine for decades if minded.

If I was buying again, yes I definitely would. I have my Expobar six years now, and although it makes great coffee, I still get some pangs of regret that I didn't stretch that little bit further for an ECM/Rocket etc. It is a long term investment, so I'd go for the best you can afford now.
