Everyone going for tarkowski over mee - I have mee with a resale value of 4.7 already. Could do with the extra few 0.1s in cash with Tarkowski or even Lowton, are both likely to be definite starters now? Lowton looks like he might be more likely to pick up an assist too. Don't want to risk him not starting for teh sake of 0.3 though as i know Mee is 100% to play.

    I'm holding on to Mee.
While he hasn't gotten any attacking points he has been extremely close to scoring several times in the last months. He is always up for corners and set pieces.

Lowton is first choice no doubt about it. He lost his spot after injury earlier in the season but regained it. Been in form ever since.

    FH34 Alternative WC

WC 33 The squad is stacked with players who double in GW37 and who have
good fixtures in GW33, GW35 and GW36. The rest of squad have no
double in GW34 (yes no Chelsea Man United Leicester Spurs etc) but
have nice fixtures in the above GWs

FH34 Get your Man United Chelsea Spurs etc.

BB/TC 35 Your original squad hopefully all play without a transfer.

GW36 2FTs to bring in assets from the GW34 doublers, perhaps delaying on
    Man United players until GW37.

    GW37 TC/BB

Some of your squads could suit WCing after FH34 etc. but I just posted it because I like the "black-and-white" style of this that negates early planning the DGW37 and allows you to be reactive for more GWs.

    Here’s my first draft

    DDG Ryan

    Morgan Tomkins Dunk Stephens Mee
    Salah Son Gross Willian Mahrez
    Lukaku Auba Barnes

    .3 itb

    Anyone spot any flaws?

I’ve still got my BB TC and free hit

BB 34 FH 35 and TC 37 is my current plan

What other chips do you have and when do you plan on using them?

Will make a big difference to the advice you will receive at this stage of the campaign.

I’ve just edited my previous post to have that vital information in it. Thanks

Too much Brighton for my liking. Free scoring Palace Away and Spurs at home for the DGW that you're BB'ing. Can't see any clean sheets there.

Any advice on the best cheap non Burnley defender that has a decent fixture in both 34 and 35? Had Tomkins in but think I'll end up with Hennessy as my second gk so don't want to double up. Watford defender? Would TAA be worth a gamble if Gomez is injured?

Who would you go for instead? Don’t want to spend too much on my keeper and defender 9/9.5 and keep the rest, to improve up the field, could move on Groll also

I'd go Holebas if I was going Watford. I think Gomez is fine. Also Clyne is back training. Would love if this wasn't the case because TAA is dynamite regardless of his price.

Thanks so much guys - think I will switch Mee to Lowton, purely because the extra 0.3 in cash gives me the ability to upgrade Firmino to Auba if I want to in a week or two for example, whereas otherwise I'd be 0.1 short.

On the plus side norman, this means Mee will now definitely get his goal :D

Little bits of talk here and there of Charlie Austin being back for @WHU on Saturday.
Would be an interesting option with 2 doubles to come, and .1 cheaper than Glen Murray. I think he has more potential upside, though with more risk.

I also like that Southamptons GW34 double is 12.30 Saturday and 7.45 Thursday - whilst it's a double for FFL purposes it's really just a normal week with good recovery time for players. Brightons second game is Tuesday.

Murrays 4 fixtures from 32->34 are definitely better overall though.

Gomez is out for a few weeks. TAA will likely start the next game as Clyne works his way back to full fitness.

That was because Rose was being given the cup game. Davies is first choice and I’d be amazed if he doesn’t get the City and Cup SF games, with Rose playing at Brighton.

Lloris or one of the CBs is the only way into Spurs defence for the First DGW.

I see where you're coming from but that doesn't rule out the possibility that Rose plays the semi final instead. Is Champions League football next season or the FA Cup more important?

Well that depends who you ask I suppose! (I’m firmly in the winning trophies camp fwiw).

It would be a poor attitude for a team to believe they can only achieve one or the other so, with the SF being the tougher game, I’m fairly confident Davies plays that game.

Playing Rose at Brighton isn’t exactly a downgrade anyway, he is England’s starting LB.

The lack Man City attackers in the wildcard teams is concerning (myself included).

Can't help but feel we'll be tearing up our teams in couple of weeks to fit Aguero, Sterling or Jesus back in. Or worse, those that held on to them will make serious yards

I may spend time between the doubles getting one or two in, but that'll partly depend on how they're doing in the CL. The league will be wrapped up and if they're all set for Europe I may well do without them, so I think not bringing them in right now is quite reasonable.

Ya I’m a bit fearful of that too but hopefully with the league wrapped up soon it won’t be a factor.. if I had to get 1 it’d be Sterling tho

Want to keep dilva but very nervous about rotation risk because of CL - might have to go without city cover. Not sure i'm happy with that either

    DDG Ryan
    Morgan Tomkins Dunk Stephens Mee
    Salah Son Gross Willian Mahrez
    Lukaku Auba Barnes

.3 itb and I’ve still got my BB TC and free hit

BB 34 FH 35 and TC 37 is my current plan

Dunk & Mee - Holibas and Lowton helps with the Brighton over load and saves me money. Any other 4.5 keepers wort a go for the DGW? If I stretch 4.8 I could get Karius for his DGW

    Karius doesn't have a DGW

The problems with picking them are obvious. You don't know with any certainty that they'll play.
    MCI Fixtures

    Opp Date
    Everton 31-Mar
    Liverpool 4 days later
    Man Utd 3 days later
    Liverpool 3 days later
    Spurs 4 days later
    Brighton 3/4 days later
    Swansea 4 days later
    CL Semi 3 days later
    West Ham 4 days later
    CL Semi 3/4 days later
    Hudd'field 4 days later
    S'hampton 8 days later
    CL Final 13 days later

It's a rotational nightmare. They can have the league won by mid april and god knows who Guardiola would play then.
Even in their DGW, no guarantees say De Bruyne/Sterling/Silva will play both. So then you're left with the average score for 1 game, which from the above is around 6 / 7 / 6. I'd like to think that i can pick players who'll achieve more than that over 2 games (famous last words).

I had Sterling in my team, but after the above exercise i'm going to swap him out.

    DDG Ryan
Morgan Tarkowski Dunk Zanka van Dijk
    Salah Son Mkhitaryan Milivojevic Mahrez
    Firmino Vardy Barnes

With TC, FH and BB intact

Will probably change this multiple times but for now it leaves me with enough to swap Vardy for Kane once fit again!

I don't get why Morgan is in so many teams.

Leicester haven't seen a clean sheet in 6 games and he's not a goal threat. He'll get you 4 points over 2 games and you have a chance of a clean sheet, but i see most teams in their run in scoring against them.

Is there something other than cost i'm missing?

5 of their next 6 fixtures are against relegation candidates.

This is not a good thing as we know what some teams achieve when they’re fighting for survival.

I currently have Morgan, Mahrez and Vardy in my WC and I’m going to have to think if I really want to carry 3 players from a team with nothing to play for against those battling for survival.

Current draft with a view to BB34, doublers in bold:

    Ryan McCarthy
    Morgan Christensen Tardowski Lowton Dummett
    Mahrez Salah Son Willian
    Lukaku Aubameyang Firmino

    0.0 ITB

Salah, Firmino, and Aubameyang are the players I want to keep despite the lack of upcoming doubles, and I can't afford a doubler over Dummett (but at least he's there for DG37).

Not sure about having 3x Burnley players, and apart from Christy my defence is ultra pound shop - more playing around to come for the remainder of the week. I may keep Auba for 32 & 33, then sell him for 34 for Vardy and upgrade defence/goalkeeper.
