The 15 to persevere our Div 1 status is as follows:

    1. David Clarke – Ballina Stephenites
    2. Caolan Crowe – Garrymore
    3. Ger Cafferkey – Ballina Stephenites
    4. Eoin O’Donoghue – Belmullet
    5. Colm Boyle – Davitts
    6. Stephen Coen – Hollymount/Carramore
    7. Patrick Durcan – Castlebar Mitchels
    8. Seamus O’Shea – Breaffy
    9. Tom Parsons – Charlestown
    10. Kevin McLoughlin – Knockmore
    11. Aidan O’Shea – Breaffy
    12. Diarmuid O’Connor – Ballintubber
    13. Jason Doherty – Burrishoole
    14. Andy Moran – Ballaghaderreen
    15. Adam Gallagher – Mayo Gaels

Solid enough apart from the full back line.

I think 11 of that team will start against Galway on May 13th

So it looks like Doc will be on the freetaking duties with Adam Gallagher as a backup option.

Who are the 4 you dont think will start? I am guessing Harrison for Crowe, Higgins for O'Donoghue, O'Connor for Gallagher. I cant tell the 4th one - Hennelly for Clarke? Vaughan / Keegan for Cafferkey?

This is a very strong Mayo line up. I definitely fancy them versus a Donegal team without McBrearty.

It's a safe enough bet that Harrison won't be back in time for Galway

    Or Keegan surely?

Yeah, best case scenario he'll be fit for the super 8's if we make it that far.

Higgins played with his club yesterday so that him ruled out.
Reports from different people say there has being no communication between him and rochford sine he informed him he was going playing hurling till they got knocked out

What’s the crack with Vaughan? Has he played this year.

I get the impression from interviews that Rochie is planning without him for the year. If you remember at the start of last year Zippy said it was his last with the footballers as his body was feeling it.

A win today would signify to me that the heart is still there. Bookies have Donegal as slight favourites, but IMO it is a tough tough task. I don't think we've ever gone into a such a big game without Cillian taking frees, so pressure is on Doherty who I presume will take up them duties. The experienced boys need to stand up and fight like they did against Tyrone last year in the league. I think it's going to be very close.

Context is everything, lovely day for the time of the year and the awful weather we've experienced.:)

Classic Ballybofey. I've never experienced anything like getting out of it after a match. Puts Salthill in the hapenny place.

Watching from abroad, had difficulty getting a bar that's showing it but have solved that issue thankfully! Just realising I haven't been posting in a good while now, hopefully I can be a good luck omen LOL.

On a separate note I was shocked to see Claremorris win by 16 points in Crossmolina last night, anyone got any insight into what happened there?

I'd take a 1-0 win. Quality of game unimportant :)
