€21,500 for a Twin cam....and he's an idiot. Claims it's exempt from the NCT . It's an '83 according to seller, but an '84 according to NCT's site (which also shows the NCT expired early last month).

...although cartell have it as an '83.

The first on that list, 774NZK, sold late last year for about 12 grand as an unfinished project without running gear AFAIK. Shes gone up North and is finally really getting the full restoration she deserves although shes not in bad shape all the same

12 grand for essentially a shell.
You would have to love them!

Beautiful cars but its heartbreaking seeing the amount out on the road getting wrecked.
One was stolen at the Galway Rally last week and was found in Kildare on its roof with "no driver".

Almost as nutty as this .....57k

Check out video (17 secs in) for pitted door handles....

Thats the one! I dont know who owns it nor was I at the rally, but a few guys I was talking to who were at it said that it was stolen on the final day and then recovered later on that evening in Kildare

I saw that tin can in the OP on the Dreamer thread over in Motors. As I said there, for it to be "one of the cleanest" and justify the price it needs original engine, standard springs, wheels, front bumper and grill (to loose them spots), steering wheel, parcel shelf, door locks matching the ignition. I also thing that the front seats may have to be changed as I think the front are black but the rears are grey/blue. A new carpet is needed due to holes left from the fire extinguisher.

I've seen near concourse ones going for that price, not ba$tardised one's like that.

The have a following, in the same way certain people think that MK2 Escorts are the greatest things since sliced bread.

A good one is still competitive as a clubman rally car.

a good mate of mine used to own DZS 402 , i think he was the third owner in fact i was with him the night he went to test drive it and subsequently buy it , she was a fine car back in 87' / '88 when we were all thrashing around in balls of sh*te , i remember her being unusual because it had an electric sunroof and a tilting steering wheel , i will contact my mate and see if he has any pictures or info on its whereabouts .

DZS 402 perched in the middle here back in 93/94 when my mate had her .
