    Hi Folks,

My friend Corolla 04 car is significantly rusted under its chassis. NCT failed with most of things were not done (ND).

He brought the car to a garage and they suggested to give him 50 EUR so he thought it was a bit cheap.

He brought the car back and will drive until NCT ended (in April) and try to sale again.

    Engine is in perfect condition.

Any advice where should we sale the car and get a few more cash?

    Thanks.

If he has the time, space and patience then he could try breaking it for parts and selling those parts separately where he would make more money. More hassle involved though and your inviting messors and oddballs onto your property.

    Many thanks for your suggestion.
We are thinking to bring the car to a breaker. But, they would give the same as the garage with just €50.

Scrap has a very low value these days.

50 is generous to be honest

There are many many Corollas around that age around so he probably won't even be able to sell parts.
As said, if he has the space he could hold on to the car and buy another Corolla and switch parts over/break it.
