Boiler Replacement - Labour only cost

    Hi,

I have an Ideal Classic FF250 which is over 20 years old.

I got a repair done last year which cost €200 and now there is a problem with the overflow and pressure gauge and the repair is going to cost €300

I can get an Ideal Logic 24KW System Boiler at cost price - does anyone know what the cost would be to install the baller by a RGII?

They would need to provide whatever other parts are not included in the box.

Also, the house is currently all on the one zone, I was looking to implement an S Plan system. From what I can tell I will need to run a new 5 core cable to boiler from Hot Press, 2 motorised valves and an immersion stat.

What would the labour cost be to plumb in the valves and wire it up?

    Thanks

All plumbers set their own prices. Prices can vary from county to county too.

Best option is to get a few different quotes but for me I'd be more concerned about quality. I'd rather pay more for someone that is highly recommended than someone cheaper that you know nothing about.

The plumber can also get it at a very good price. If you buy it from him you benefit from the protections of the law for consumers. If you buy it yourself at a trade counter, you don't. There may also be a VAT advantage in having the installer buy it.
