    We can.
    After due process.

By due process do you mean after we are told by the ECHR??

Dear oh Dear, the case was referred to the European Court of Justice not The European Court of Human Rights.
Perhaps familiarize yourself with facts before commenting on them.

So Europe tells us, and you think that's sovereignty?? (slow clap)

I was a bit mixed up, it was the ECHR who stopped us getting rid of the ISIS recruiter for years.

"The man the Irish authorities believe to be the “main recruiter” in Ireland for Islamic extremists was “indisposed” to the extent he was unable to attend his a Court of Appeal challenge to his deportation.

Plans to deport a man allegedly involved with Islamic extremists have been put on hold following a dramatic intervention by the European Court of Human Rights which made an order temporarily preventing Ireland from deporting him."

All members of eiter or both the EU and the Council of Europe forego a degree of Sovereignty in order to benifit from membership of those organisations, if a state does not like the rules of the club let them leave, but they cannot seek to claim the benifts of EU membership while attempting to deprive their own people of their rights as EU citizens. That is what the ultra right wing catholic Government of Poland is attempting to do.

no, after our courts have decided. in some cases there will be a refering to either the ECHR or ECJ.

yes, the court in ireland refering a case to a european court for a judgement is sovernty. as well as irish law, we have to abide by EU law.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

When will our High Court be ruling on the illegal collection of VRT??
It already has. On several occasions. The CJEU has ruled on VRT cases as well.

VRT, substantially, isn't illegal and never has been. There's been a couple of minor judgments of the CJEU in relation to how it's calculated and how it's applied to leased cars but it's been found to be robust.

Isn't it racist to claim another country is not as good as yours?
I mean, the whole concept of racism means you think your way of doing things is superior to another way.

Seems to be escaping people's attention but it's not going down too well with avid PiS supporters.
With the eu voicing their concerns over how the government in Poland has completely reformed their judiciary system and replaced judges with their own branded judges, taken over the main television station and the whole **** you Europe attitude, it seems it was only a matter of time before it trickled down further.
I fully understand the judges concerns of the person receiving a fair trial in his native country and that allowing the ecj rule on it - we are after all a union based on democracy and fairness.
Even the polish supreme court has criticized the government's reforms.
However, has a can of worms now been opened which has started to damage relations?
I'm here in Warsaw at the moment and already the racial slurs have started, some even calling for burning the flag on Saturday.
    Thoughts?

What kind of slurs are we talking here, anything imaginative?

Ah just the typical ****e tbh, red head idiots was one. Using the sexual preference of the judge against her and the let's burn the Irish flag as we are now enemies in the eyes of the Poles.
These would be from the die hard PiS fans now.

The whole thing is built on a false premise that drug dealers are somehow entitled to a fair trial. If we got over this one simple misunderstanding I feel dealing in drugs would become less common indeed.

The point is that he hasn't yet been convicted of a crime so as far as the law is concerned he is the same as you and me.

Leftwing political correctness overload, a glass of Almond Milk and Avacados will be needed for them to recover from that one.
