So, I've been a bit of a fatty this past couple weeks and been trying out the fridge and frozen pizzas from Tesco and the likes.

So far my favourite one has to be, Tesco's Stone Baked spinach and ricotta pizza, and the same one but with pepperoni. They cook so well, and taste great. I also like the Milano Sloppy Joes pizza.

What's your favourite shop bought pizza?

The odd time I buy one it's usually a Goodfellas.

I was never a fan of Goodfellas, the base always tasted off to me, like a biscuit or something.

The base is very hard to get right in fridge or frozen pizzas tbf.

Goodfellas used to be good but then they started swapping out good ingredients for cheaper ones to help the balance sheet along.

I used to have a soft spot for those Ristorante pizzas by Dr Oetker. Problem was you'd eat two on your own before you'd feel full :o

Been years since I've had one but Chicago Town were good if I remember right, the ones with sauce in the crusts.

Probably Dr Oetker but Chicago Town were amazing around 2006-2008 then for some reason they turned to sh1te

Never had a decent frozen pizza.

Some of the refrigerated ones can be alright.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Yeah I remember they were amazing years ago. Had one last year and it was just a sloppy mess. Pity.

Aldi have an incredible Hoisin Duck pizza for €2. It's my automatic go to now.

Over than that, the Chicago Town frozen 'takeaway' pizzas are decent.

Haven't had frozen pizza in years but think I used to like Dr Oetkers Margarita and then I added own topping to it.

Like the spicy one you get in the fridge in Aldi. It’s about 4 quid. Best washed down with 8 cans of lager.

The Aldi stonebaked one with spinach, ricotta and caramelised onions. Drool.

There's a double pepperoni one in ALDI for 65 cent and it's savage.

Anyone remember the Inferno pizzas in lidl?

The new sourdough chargrilled chicken in lidl blow everything else off the planet, although you can't freeze them, which is probably a good thing. Tesco stone baked spicy meat (the 3.50 ones) are dynamite too but not quite as luxurious.

Used to love Goodfellas Bacon and Mushroom but it's rank now.
I can't bring myself to pay proper money for a frozen pizza when the local Tesco will do a massive fresh one for 4/5 quid.
For cheap frozen pizzas Aldi's own brand pepperoni triple pack is around 3 quid and very decent.

Never saw that. Sounds nice. Frozen or refrigerated section?

Aldi and Lidl "premium range" refrigerated pizzas are decent enough, can't bate a fresh pizza from Italian chipper though.

Those Tesco ones are very good!

Got a pizza from m&s over the weekend...pizza for 1 stone base with lobster and prawn ...expensive at 7 for a small enough pizza...but I enjoyed it as a friday treat.

Usually do homemade but the Aldi or Dr Otker ones are decent enough although I usually add a bit more topping myself. Dunnes ones with goats cheese already mentioned in thread are OK too. Pizza for me is supposed to be a cheap snack. Slightly mystifies me to see people paying through the nose for it as takeaway.

I need to get to Aldi, only have a Lidl near me here.

The Lidl deluxe range are really good. There's one with Salami, bacon and rocket (the Gustavo?) that's amazing.

Can't stand store bought pizza. I think it's a throwback to those mini neon orange ones my mam used to buy when we were kids. :D

Goodefellas Diavolo or Tesco Sloppy Guiseppe. Maybe cheating but Aldi do a pepperoni & salami one that's not frozen but in the fridge that is savage.

Aldi used to do one called a Diavolo as well with spcied minced beef and jalapenos that was unreal but they got rid of it. Their Sourdough range is pretty good though.

Anyone else think there is never enough sauce on these pizzas?

Every so often I crave an original Goodfellas deep pan pepperoni. They're garbage but if it's frozen pizza, that's probably where I end up

Pizza is like sex, even if it's bad, it's still pretty good and almost always better than nothing.
