I think it is absolutely fabulous, they certainly have a nice taste (minus that mural).

The dining table lights were great.

Any update on the episode that wasn't shown at the end of the last season.

    Forgot about that.

What was the background again? Was it planning?

Still kinda glad Dermot had to hand over the fiver !

I would say that the builder would not have signed his release form if he didnt get Dermot to admit he was wrong and then to insist that it would be made clear that he finished the build within the 8 weeks whether the truth or not.

No signature from builder no TV show, 50G down the drain for the production company.

Not to my taste (feature walls too dark, didn't like kitchen, loved the idea of the mural but really dislike the one they chose) and I would have lost the head with the builder and the budget but really liked the couple and hope they were happy with the end result.

I mean if you're living there for a long term and it's not an investment that you wanna shift the money you spend on doing the place up is kinda trivial.
We live in a house that is probably worth 100k but I'd totally splash out money for some nice double storey extension when I'm living there for a long time.

Loved the couple and they got what suited them . Thought the mural was dreadful but they can paint over it . It cheapened a really nice courtyard

Surely the releases are signed once the tendering process is complete?

No way do they wait until filming is completed. That would be asking for trouble

I hope he takes pride in it because it's one of the last things he's going to build after this airs.

why . he was very profecional. he did what he said he would , when he said it was and looks to be a good standerd. he even finished 2 weeks early on the shedual

he could work on his contracts and get better change order procedures but that all

The dining table lights were great.

Love them too, I reckon they could be done cheaply. I spotted the bulbs and the cable here when I was buying kitchen chairs. Very tempted to give it a go

Why didn't they salvage the original bricks on the demolished part of the house?

That's exactly what my husband said. He was like why are they demolishing that walk like that!

It depends on the production anyway after the money issue came up there was no footage of the builder except at the opening night.

That is not the normal format of the production, normally they go into the finish and the final push to complete. The builder must have told them to stay clear.

Yeah, for real, 180 grand "only" buys you an extension like that? Seems... steep?
