With life been so stressful these days I like to do some meditation or yoga to wind down. I find it very relaxing particularly if I have had a stressful day. So what do you do to wind down?

Take the dog for a walk.

No matter how shtty your day has been, and no matter who I upset, or what mayhem I caused upon myself or others to me, he's always waiting on me coming through that door with his big happy face and tail doing 90.

    Dogs love unconditionally.

Taking them on long walks half returns the love, but benefits both dog and master.

Gaming. At least that’s the theory but it ends up winding me up more than work.

I do absolutely nothing. Home at 5, sit til bed time while looking at my tablet and the telly.

Doing the same here at the moment. The peace and quiet is exhilarating.

I like different things depending on my mood. Videogames, programmes, music, books, films.
Get the dinner out of the way and just focus on something until I'm tired enough for bed.

No love like a dogs love. Our dog is like one of the family at this stage. The only thing he can't do is talk to you but he shows his love in many other ways.

There can't be a better way to ease off after a days work.

Especially at the weekends. I love sitting and relaxing and watching all the sport. They only time I get stressed is if my soccer team loose which happens quiet often.

I do yoga and meditate, but if I'm really stressed out what works for me is if I get in the pool and swim laps until I'm either kicked out or I can't go on. There's something very zen about being in the water.

Not a big reader myself to be honest but I do like listening to music preferable easy listening especially when the the rest of the family is out.

Have a cup of tea and give a wander through YouTube. I sometimes prefer it to Netflix as I enjoy browsing through short videos at random as opposed to committing to a 90 minute film.

The gym helps me to wind down. I'm not in exceptionally good shape nor do I lift very heavy weights but nothing resets you like a good sweat and a hot shower afterwards.

I agree I always push myself when going to the gym. I use the Sauna and Jacuzzi before having my shower and I must say I feel so good after it. Apart from feeling good it keeps the brain active.

Why not if it realeases the stress. It must be fair stressful for you lifting all those pints.

I almost ruined my New Year’s Day doing a killer sudoku in the paper.

I had some silly idea in my head that I had to finish it to start the year as I meant to go on and spent about 2 hours doing it and when I finished it I was like, that wasn’t worth the effort !

For me it depends on my mood, but usually gaming, sitting doing nothing but looking through my phone, or going to bed and throwing on a few episodes of Friends.

I find the focus of concentration needed very distracting in a good way, but that dosnt mean i don't **** the puzzles up more often than not :D I just don't worry too much about that aspect.

Reading. My favourite thing is to get engrossed in a book and not notice a few hours passing by.

Listening to music. I have a playlist for every mood :D

Trashy tv. Nice to switch the brain off for a while.

Gaming. Sometimes it’s counterproductive though, nothing quite like a halo multiplayer induced rage. I can take it a bit too seriously :o

    I usually write something.
The 'something' greatly depends on my mood at the time, but I find it to be relaxing, distracting, and rewarding all in one when a piece is finished.
