Flightradar says otherwise, no 997 flight today and no sign of EI-CPH

EI-GCF just completed a quick circuit

Miami route back on sale from November until next year. Apparently they are giving it another go. Hopefully it the loads improve a bit!

Is this "Denver" announcement really coming up soon or is this just a rumour? (even sources such as travel extra etc have mentioned it now)

EI-CPH did return to Dublin yesterday around 1500 as EI997.

Think back to previous “imminent announcements” about new routes (Dallas and Vegas) The various website contributor’s seem to feed off and refract each other’s stories. Hence the multitude of “EI to Vegas!”stories last year, all based of a single sentence reply by the CEO.

I would like to be proven wrong however. Growth for Dublin is good for all involved.

Don't believe anything you'd read on those types of websites - EI will announce what's actually happening in the fullness of time.

Wow €4.5m that's a decent subsidy! No wonder they went for it. Seems like it's running about 30% below forecast though despite EI saying it's performing 'in accordance with expectations'!

The Revenue figure per round trip seems very ambitious

Still hoping for a Texas flight. I'm going to have to fly there every few weeks for the foreseeable future, and right now connecting via LHR is the best option (which is a pain in the proverbial on the way home).

Why not connect via somewhere like PHL or ATL so you can pre-clear and not go the wrong direction

EI-GCF is backing off the gate with the EI109 to JFK, flight revenue flight?

As I said, going via LHR is currently the best option.

Every time I've checked alternatives I've found that connecting through the US involves a stupidly late arrival on the way over and missing my breakfast on the way back :)

Yeah both days, as you know it was Tue/Sat last summer but until this week they only had Sat for this summer (online anyway). Surprised they are not just doing the morning 07.30 on the 3 days.

Ha gas,Well they're gonna have to change engineering shifts so to accommodate A checks which may not happen..

    Well out of 13 aircraft:
    2xJFK (1x AGP daily)
    2xBOS
    2xORD
    1xEWR
    1xYYZ
    1xMIA/MCO
    1xLAX
    1xSFO
    1xIAD
    1x(4 MWFSu) SEA (FAO Tue/Thu/Sat??)

It still gives them a full week free on aircraft 14 assuming is confirmed.

What I'm thinking is the "spare" aircraft won't be spare,it'll run FAO Tues and thurs

Possibly but surly it would make more sense to send one off the BOS inbound and rotate the spare onto one of the afternoon departures daily.

God help them if an aircraft goes tech, will be an extended Shannon without service I'd say!

So currently 12 in service? The ex Qatar A330, was this to be ‘the spare’?
Or was ‘the spare’ going to be number 14?
