Would you even tell us who you support instead of just having a go at everyone else's (well, Inter) team? Though I guess having a pop at Cairo and Inter in the same post makes it pretty clear...

I'm a Fiorentina fan and to be honest he makes a good point about Inter and their constant excuse making. Always blaming Juventus bribing/influencing referees for not winning the title.

It's a persecution complex I remember that stretches back to the 1980's.

From 1986 to 1995 Juve did not win the title and Inter won one. Inter had a great side back in 1989 when they won the title but could not capitalise. Was that Juve's fault?

Was it Juve's fault that Samp beat you to the title in 1991? Was it Juve's fault that Inter threw the title away in Rome against Lazio back in 2002?

Maybe the reason is that Inter have been mismanaged at board level for the last 20 odd years or so. Even after spending the guts of €1 billion on players, Moratti's Inter only managed to win the title and build Inter dominance thanks to Calciopoli.

Lmao, Viola and yet pro-Juve... you couldn't make it up :D.

You do know that the Fiorentini hate Juventus more than anybody else, right? (For example the same reasons I talk about).

You do realise that the Viola are the biggest anti-Juve crew in Italy? Why?

"Questa é una zona degobbizzata" stickers ring any bells? Washing players backs?

    1982?

    LMFAO

Been following them for 20 years, so yes. Have been out to see them many times.

What has that got to do with disliking Inter? The perennial whiners, and underachievers, of Serie A. Despite blowing the GDP of a small country on top players over the last 20+ years?

Napoli in a bit of trouble, they don't look very convincing.

I actually see Roma getting something on the break.

    Saw that coming

Huge day for the title race. I hope Napoli can recover from this. Big game next week too, away to Inter.

Really enjoyed Dzeko's performance. Great centre-forward display.

Tragic news this morning, Fiorentina captain Davide Astori has died suddenly in his hotel room in Udine. RIP.

Terrible news. Puts football into perspective, absolutely the right decision to postpone all matches. Astori RIP.

All fixtures today postponed. Shocked by it as he was a young man & you never expect these things. Thoughts with the family who must be devastated

Very surprised by that Milan defeat.

    Were they that bad?

    I watch Serie A quite a bit.

Napoli been good this year but the league as a whole is very weak right now.

Pace of the games is below the PL,La Liga & Bundesliga.

Absolute silence in the Artemio Franchi from the fans for about ten minutes. It was hard to watch without your eyes watering up.

Doesn't look like anyone on the Fiorentina team has a captains armband.

What a finish in the Milan match. Just seconds to go and they score to win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Unbelievable! Andre Silva just won the game for Milan in the final seconds with a header. They've been so poor today and Genoa had played well. Lapadula missed a decent chance from a header just minutes before. Good confidence boost for them ahead of the Arsenal game.

Team news for Inter vs Napoli who kick off at 7.45:
Inter XI: Handanovic; Cancelo, Skriniar, Miranda, D’Ambrosio; Brozovic, Gagliardini; Candreva, Rafinha, Perisic; Icardi.

Napoli XI: Reina; Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik; Callejon, Mertens, Insigne.

Massive game for both sides. I'd like to see Napoli win to keep alive the title race. I'll go for Napoli to edge it.

Good game so far, probably the best Inter performance this year but then that's not difficult.
