Beautiful offoad from Furlong. Pity about the player who received it.

    this ref is an aberration

Perfect defense there - pick your man and stick to him, hope that the pass goes awry, rather than dithering between two attackers.

Complete botch by Scotland. Ireland have been lucky so far.

Ireland are getting out of jail at the moment. Winning turnovers in their 22.

    this ref is an abbhoration

He's been very good so far.

Kearney deserves a fair bit of criticism for that awful whiffling tackle though. He's lucky Earls is around. Edit: actually it was Sexton not Earls.

Shocking attempt at tackle by Kearney on huw Jones. Turnstile defence

Not sure why Ireland are panicking.
This will suit Scotland, scrappy, tight.

Ireland need to slow this down.

We're not at our best but we haven't been bad either. Making line breaks and the forwards have the upper hand in contact. But the last step is missing.

If Scotland can maintain this form over the next few years then they'll be immense in future 6 Nations

Scotland having a lot more possession and territory than I thought they would.

    They’re already fairly immense imo

    We havnt shown up yet.

Ironically thats the one thing giving me hope. We are clearly second best at the moment yet leading but I have to assume that at some point Ireland will show up.

Ah bollox Wayne Barnes is ref. He's never exactly friendly to Irish teams internationally or at club level.

    Barnes having a super game.

True, but they're still capable of games like Cardiff a few weeks ago.

Gil Christ was mile off side.
He’s the size of a house and wears a bright red cap not the hardest spot.

Ireland look out in their feet already.

But of composure from Scotland in the second half and they win this easily.
