The very first sentence on the men's day website

"Objectives of International Men's Day include a focus on men's and boy's health, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality, and highlighting positive male role models"

Notice the difference in tone. Women's is positive, strive forward, unite, progress.

Men's is negative. Reign yourselves in, get approved role models, health issues.

So for example, what is the goal of a business?

To make money.

So, if your company is staffed with people who want to virtue signal, your company's goal moves away from making a good product and more towards convergence; a giant in vs out; us vs them.

If your office is covered with International Women's Day stuff, maybe look towards getting the fùck out of there, because after all your company is not after quality anymore, its about status now.

It's an open secret that in the docklands of Dublin, some of the firms there add points to people (HR department) for people who are a minority/gay etc in terms of the hiring process. It even leaked a couple of months ago that Google were blacklisting employees who either had right wing views or visited right wing websites, or even both.

What this does is that you have a company are not selecting for competence anymore. You are selecting for someone's status and background.

You have two programmers. One is an excellent white programmer. The other is a crap minority programmer. The latter gets hired by Google. The former goes elsewhere.

This means your company starts to decline because you're hiring the wrong people essentially, especially when your HR department becomes populated with these people, as like hires like. People with right wingish dispositions get pushed out. Not a good thing for a company.

International Women's Day is a very left wing leaning kind of thing, so the more of a celebration there is of it, the more that your company has been converged upon by what I'm talking about above.
