Any idea why Walsall are 15/8 at home to Rochdale in League One?

Walsall are mid table and even in with shout of play offs whereas Rochdale are bottom albeit with a few games in hand after FA cup run - but if they keep up similar PPG they would still be very close to bottom. I can’t understand how they are favourites at 13/8 for this.

Walsall double chance at 1/2 seems good to me at very least.

Absolute muck, haven’t a hope with the corners. They haven’t even pushed on since the goal, awful balls going into the box and wide.

Was looking at this game earlier, screaming out goals alright.

Over 1.5 second half goals @ 9/10 BV could be value, and the bookies have the Total Goals line priced accordingly to recent history.

Also small bet @ HT on over 2.5 @ 5/2.

0-0 at HT, both teams attacking well but no luck. Hopefully change in 2nd half.

    FT
    Celta Vigo 2
    Las Palmas 1

Over 1.5 2nd half goals lands along with the over 2.5 goals bet at HT.

Also got a right run on the corners in 2nd half of Palace game, no corner in last 20 mins was a killer.

Hoped for higher odds for a red but @3.3 on 888 will have to do.

Coral have boosted BTTS in both of tonight's Champions League games to 3/1, Betfair are next best at just over 6/4.

Am trying to figure out why Villa are evens away to Sunderland tonight....

    3rd vs bottom team.
Sunderland won 2 of last 15 games, last win 8 games ago. Villa won 8 of last 11 (had a bad run before that but that was 2017).

Rarely use Coral they keep voiding my 10 Euro bet on the all teams to score and offering me it at 9.09 instead with just over 36 returns if it comes in - any idea why they are limiting me to 9.09
    Instead of a tenner? Thanks

Honestly, I don't know. I got my stakes limited for horse racing a while back by the "dearly departed" Stan James for following that guy who used to post amazing tips in the Horse Racing forum, but as you said you rarely use Coral.

I was expecting 8/11 myself. Walsall at 19/10 at home to Rochdale is a bit of value too.

A bit of value in over 1.5 Total Goals in the Championship tonight.

    I’m taking in-play four fold here @ 7/2.

    Norwich v Nottm Forest
    Preston v Bristol City
    Birmingham v Middlesbrough
    Sunderland v Aston Villa

Walsall and Pool let me down for 800. Other 6 come in. 230/1 shot.

Benzema single handedly cost a 40/1 bet builder on over 3.5 , should have ended about 2-6 to Madrid, greedy sow ,ronaldo in tonnes of space would he hell pass ,Madrid need to get rid ASAP

Of course I had to pick the only 2 games in the championship to not go over 1.5 tonight.

In fairness they were all glory-hunting towards the end, even Ramos...

3-0 loss at home, bookies new something I didn’t... Threw them in a accum with Cardiff, Boro and Fulham so pretty sick about that result.

    Tottenham v Juventus

    * Tottenham have scored in each of their last 15 games

    * Juventus have scored in each of their last 15 games

So we should bet "both teams to score - yes" @ 1.8

    * Tottenham have kept a clean sheet in 7 of their last 10 home games.

    * Juventus have kept a clean sheet in 9 of their last 10 away games

So we should bet "both teams to score - no" @ 2.0

Have to love stats - can make a case for whatever you want.

Juventus to qualify is priced at 3.0 - would be interested to hear opinions on this.

I've found overs and BTTS in the championship can't be relied on (well even less than most bets:P). Even prolific teams like Derby and Sheffield United can draw a blank for no good reason in any given game...

It's simply too big for a team who've been here year in year out.
I'm taking it for value, a lot will say how on earth were they this price if they do qualify.

Yes - I backed Juventus to qualify at 3.0 the second I saw I saw it - looks like unbelievable value to me.

Hard to call 2nd leg qualifiers, could be a goal fest or very tight and 1-0. Personally I went with Spurs win & over 1.5 goals.
Spurs unbeaten in all competitions in 17 games (Juve 19 game unbeaten run...) and Juve only won 1 away win in 3 during group stages.

Tough to call this one, backing BTTS but anything could happen.

Took a chance on kane to score spurs win and over 2.5 goals 4/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 502 ✭✭✭hellfish08

On Betfred, a goal in both halves @ 6/4 max £10

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 861 ✭✭✭jbt123

    Spurs Juve

Taking race to 7 corners - neither at
    Evens.

Juve not really a great team for high corner counts for or against. Hard to know how Spurs approach this attacking wise.
Previous game finished 2-2 score and 5-5 on the corners.

    Good luck all.
