Using Vodafone modem with Eir?

    So, I just switched my broadband from Vodafone to Eir, of course they switched over my broadband before I'd even received the new modem from Eir and now I have no broadband til I get it. I guess the snow didn't help with delivery.

    I figured I could use my existing Vodafone modem if I changed some settings and Eir tech support gave me the settings I need to change but for the life of me I can't get into the advanced settings on the Vodafone modem, it's a HG556a. I've tried resetting it to factory settings but I can only get into the standard settings on the router page (192.168.1.1). I have tried username: admin with password: VF-IRhg556 and also tried username: admin with password: advanced. Neither work.

    Can anyone help?

    Did you get the username/password for the advanced account?

    I am interested as well to get into and change the username/password. At this time they are grey out.
