For anybody with an Enigma 2 box using CrossEPG, I've gotten the EPG back through Setup/EPG/CrossEPG/OpenTV Providers, ticking "Sky UK" and "Download" (this is on OpenVIX 5.1 so the menu path might differ slightly as things sometimes shuffle around a bit).

So far it's picking up the autotimers I'd previously set up fine

    Thanks JMcL....works a treat

I was looking at freesat there and Channel 4HD was on the 2nd or 3rd page of the epg. When you consider that bbc alba is on the 1st page perhaps C4 are looking for a better epg position.

Do broadcasters pay more to be no.1, no. 2, etc on the epg?

I deleted some of the SD channels so my order is ...
    102 BBC 2 HD
    105 5 HD
    106 BBC 1 HD
    107 BBC 4 HD
    109 BBC ALBA
    111 ITV HD
... on the 1st page of epg.

It's not because there isn't a Channel 4 HD with Irish Ads, Channel 4 HD is on Virgin Media here

It's the same reason More4 +1 and 4seven aren't on the Irish Sky EPG, they don't want to pay for additional EPG slots

Are you sure about that ? Last time I saw Virgin Media ( which was a while ago I admit ), there were two Channel 4's, the Irish advert one in SD and a HD one with UK adverts ( may have been CH4 NI HD ), has that changed ?

There's 6 regional variants of CH4 SD (including one for N. Ireland) but the HD feed - as far as I know - was never regionalised, was UK national only.

I don't think there is/was an ROI one but stand to be corrected.

Sorry my point was that if Virgin Media can have Channel 4 HD on their EPG, it's not because it doesn't show Irish adverts

Channel 4 and Channel 4 +1 has 7 regional versions each

Channel 4 HD is the London version

No update that I'm aware of.

Vintage TV was also removed from Freesat over a week ago.

Must be the Summer of discontent with proprietary EPGs ...... both Sky and Freesat losing subscriptions.

Thankfully, so far, FTA is doing well this year.
