Is it worth doing this by yourself if you only use one screen? (That is not with a group etc) Or would I be better off with an Irish account?

The only difference with an Irish account is you pay more. You don't have to select the 4 screen option.

Sorry folks - coming to this thread very late....

Currently paying e9.99 a month for using Netflix on an Samsung tablet and often cast it to a chromecast for the TV upstairs. Is that two screens so? Does that rule me out of linking up with others and going the Mexico route?

How do you work payment for this - does one person pay and then collect from the other three?? Every month??

I can't quite remember why I signed up to Netlix on the US site, but my two screen plan is working out at €9.20 from their $10.99 price. Its still a saving from €10.99 that it is here.

Do you have to use revolut for Mexican Netflix

    Or can you visa debit?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,053 ✭✭✭pl4ichjgy17zwd

You can use whatever card you want, revolut just has the best exchange rate.

Entirely dependent on the exchange rate and fees your bank charges you.

If caught just tell the judge you were drunk, make a donation to charity and you'll be grand.

I'm sure it's not how they intend you using it but I don't imagine you'd have a solicitors letter in the post either. I think they'd just cut you account off in a worst case scenario.

And you loose a month. But i don't see how they'd care as its not the majority that would do it

You're still paying Netflix for their service. Nothing to worry about. Worst case they will close the account and you can go back to Irish one. Sure perhaps you set it up when you were on holidays in Mexico.

When u sign up, does it automatically give you a free month as my card was charged to 8.80 for 4 screen plan

Netflix have been emailing me about re-subscribing.

Anyone have any luck contacting them and saying you're thinking of coming back but you'll have to give me a better rate etc?

I've been downloading all my life but want to go "legit" so to speak.

They don’t do reduced packages unless you take a trip to Mexico or Colombia via vpn and sign up

    The internet isn’t for everyone

    There's no bother changing language?
What about content? More or less the same?

You only need to set it up with a VPN, then just log into account without VPN and Irish content is there.

    Sounds easy enough.

Can I use the same email and payment details I used when I had my Irish account?

Their systems register email and credit card details. They will pick up on it probably.
