I had been thinking that I have never really taken to the new location. I miss the old cobbles. The old street. The new location seems to reflect a new Coronation Street the production of which, from the writing to some of the acting, does not live up to what Coronation Street really traditionally represents..

I don't have the skills to link Youtube to this post but if you go into Youtube and put in Abandoned Coronation Street set you might be shocked and saddened to see what looks like an old pal abandoned. Sad.

I visited the old set. Was pretty cool. Not sure if they still do tours there.

They don't because it's being demolished.
It looks like a derelict building site.
I think it's being sold for development which I don't understand because they could have kept it for tours and making money off it.
I had the luck of visiting it before it shut. It was pure magic!

I was thinking did she borrow Gail's trouser suit from the 1980's!

Characters now literally disappearing when the writers don’t know what to do with them. Not a word about Eva’s pregnancy or the surrogacy. God almighty Fizz is annoying!

How has no-one noticed Eva's bump?

Ah lads i hate that I always come on here to moan about it but the writing is just so poor these days. Are we meant to give a toss that Moira is coming back?

That Bethany is an absolute b*tch, no remorse for glassing a fella in the face that did f*ck all. Happy as Larry that the charges were dropped.

Have the feeling its not the last we've seen of Scarface though

I think it might be the last we see of him because the writers seem to forget stuff like this all the time.

Sarah and Bethany actually giggling over the lad not wanting his bride to be to know he was in a lapdancing bar. Even if she's off the hook criminally, Bethany doesn't seem too bothered that she's ruined a young man's life, physically and very likely psychologically, for absolutely no reason.

How many times did Sally talk about all the amazing qualities Sophie has when every scene shes in is her whispering her lines while rubbing her eyes and lamenting how she wants more out of life when as I recall she dropped out of school to work part time selling tins of beans and washing windows, and hasn't done much towards an effort at fixing what's she's complaining about.

Didnt Sophie go through a biblical stage at one time? has that been forgotten? They should convert her into a vicar like Harriet from Emmerdale
