Congrats to all those in the snow starved east and south getting snow. There is no better sound than that of the crunch of powdery snow under foot!

Lovely blanket of white here in Sallins. The road and kerb will be one by the morning. The local kids are going to have a total field day tomorrow - but for now, it’s a nice clean blanket of snow.

Agreed. We have had a good innings out west this winter.

Omg it's getting really heavy now with the whiteout continuing! Easily 2 inches! Blowing snow also.

3-5 inches widely being reported across Kildare.

Few flakes blowing around here but temp just dropped half a degree in 15 mins! -1.4c here now

This has to be a red alert for Dublin for tomorrow. Dublin 13 and watched a taxi drive down the main road. Two minutes later its tracks were completely covered again.

Maybe it was a taxi for newinvestor :-)

Easily 0cm after falling in Galway...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,075 ✭✭✭Artane2002

This is accumulating unbelievably quickly! Probably near 5cm now. My window is open and the snow is settling in the windowsill too.

Beautifully clear and calm here near UL, about -1, calm winds, almost no clouds.

I suspect the morning will have little or no snow cover around the city of Limerick. Still, I'm expecting driving conditions to be a tad slippery for those with a morning commute.
Take care out there in the morning!

No noise from the Rag Week heads?

    I'd say red alert territory.

    This is incredible.
