Stopped again in D5. I fear that I'm just a tiny bit too far north of that streamer. Should i be concerned? :(

A change is wind direction more due east soon should shift the streamer north somewhat.

The wind will shift for a time during the night, so those of us in the IoM shadow may do better later.

I suppose most will have hit the sack apart from a few night owls like myself.

I'd say the server is wiping the sweat off now, and is due a well earned rest overnight.

Hope the busiest thread on Boards will cope tomorrow and the day after and after.....

    Sweet Snow Dreams everyone.

Irish Sea has just ignited like a flame the last hour. What a night we have ahead!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,033 ✭✭✭Snowbie

Heavy hail and snow accumulating on top of older stuff. 2cm atm
More of a ENE wind blowing so much more of Dublin will get heavy snow showers now moving further inland. I reckon a lot of eastern counties will see 2 to 4Cm by morning with sweet spots seeing higher totals of of 6cm
Now bring on the thunder snow

    Temp -0.1C

Beauty of the Beast! Streamers coming in now from the Irish sea. Big band of snow clouds encroaching the crystal clear skies over snowy Lusk.

No more snow here in my part of D15 since my last photos. Just checked there and the bit free of snow in the photo where a car was has not been snowed on since.

Spoke too soon. Clear spot nicely filled in now.

Irish sea looks to really be coming alive. This could be carnage on the east even this early.

It sure does, even with a slightly more easterly shift in wind it will be even better

Bit of a dusting here in Dundalk. That northernmost streamer has been making valiant efforts to batter its way through the Mournes/Cooley snowshield for the last couple of hours!
