Massive change in last half hour here.

Went from calm and dry in Dundrum to a thick 2cm blanket in about 10 minutes.

Extremely heavy. Seemed to come out of nowhere.

    Dublin about to get hammered

    Where did you see this?

If it's going to happen I will head out and get a few pics from O'Connell bridge.

Dublin city center is screwed and I'm laying all blame on the Poolbeg incinerator - everything is going left or right of it!

Snow has arrived. Cam has sound so you can listen to the reactions :D

Edit: look how fast that path is turning white. Everyone in the frame is on a phone taking a picture

Light falling now in dublin City Centre. Hopefully the beginning of a good blanket covering.

This is all just round one, right? Quite a lot of disappointed folk, it seems. I'm in D22, and it's fairly white outside. However, we haven't exactly been pelted with snow.

Using the analogy of going out for a meal - you haven’t even started buttering the bread that’s on the table before your starters arrive yet.

Thursday/Friday will be the main course.

Correction on that, it's going slightly faster and veering the weensiest bit south from what I projected. It's also gathered a bit of oomp as it approaches Howth.

City Centre's going to get a heavy pasting in about 10 minutes, and then all routes out to Tallaght after that. Won't last as long as I first said though.

Bloody hailstones in Arbour Hill :(

Whatever about now for Dublin, the radar is looking JUICY upstream for later!

Omg it’s amazing from the sky in Sandyford. Everything covered - cars, road, roof!! And still falling
If Sandyford and Dundrum end up covered and we miss out I'll be raging. :D

Unfortunately has not gotten going in Dublin city. Please don’t let this continue although it’s getting ever more likely that we’re caught in some blind spot.
Edit: with the orange warning due to expire at 11am it’s been exciting but disappointing. Will have to wait for Thursday night to get a better chance of snow.

Look to be in the shadow of the Isle of Man for the next while in Kilcock so sleep it is for me. Seriously hoping I don’t wake up to the current dusting. I’ve gotten greedy with the forecasts!
