Hello all, Daughter has just bought herself an S7, and a Symmetry case. We cannot for love nor money find a glass screen protector that is suitable with this case! I have bought at least 4 different ones, and have come to the conclusion that there are none they either won't fit at all.' or slide right off once the case is on.

I reckon the only way to go is with a film one. Any recommendations? I looked at IQ Shield on eBay, but I am not prepared to pay €30 shipping

Buy a screen protector friendly case instead. OtterBox are a bit cheap and nasty tbh and there are better options.

Alternatively this is a good all round solution and Supcase make good quality and durable cases.

If you buy into the overpriced hype around them I'm delighted for you.

From a usability point of view they aren't compatible with the vast majority of screen protectors. They are extremely bulky when others offer similar levels of protection without the additional bulk. And the usual symmetry cases have cheap and slipepry plastic on the back which means they're not particularly nice to hold and add little in terms of grip.

I usually wind up with one on a new phone while waiting on web purchases and I've never felt the urge to use it afterwards due to the above. And it is especially accurate in the case of the symmetry on the S7.

Well..........she likes the case, it's pink :D and I don't think €30 is really that cheap..

She would really feel happiest keeping the case and finding a protector for the screen, if there is one!

Well if it's pink you have no choice but to keep it:D

OtterBox do an Alpha Glass screen protector that should work with their own cases. Might be worth a look.

Also I meant cheap and nasty feeling for the cost, they are in reality anything but cheap.

I'll have a look for the Alpha Glass, thanks!

    Certainly not knock offs.

I don't see the need for the constant insults to be quite honest, I've outlined the reasons quite clearly that led to my conclusion on OtterBox cases. It's my opinion based on my experience and there are better options which in this case may suit the OPs needs - a case and screen protector.

Case friendly glass protectors. Used them on my S7/s7E and now my S8. Fit perfect with any Otterbox cover, I can confirm. eBay - between 5 and 10 euro delivered, in a variety of colours.

Any chance of a link to them? Thanks! All the ones I see are for the Edge, we have a regular S7
