We watched "What Happened to Monday" last night. It's a quite predictable but fun dystopian sci-fi actioner that'll probably appeal to those who liked Gattica or Equilibrium. Open a bottle of wine and get the popcorn out. :)

    Torture.

Ah you have to wait for Dawson to get into the show, once he gets on form it's great. They should really make a spin off show about Dawson.

    .

does someone actually sit down and translate these or is an automated process....I watch a lot of sub titles stuff and have noticed discrepancies in French & Spanish before though I wouldn't have enough of a handle on either ne that bothered with it but every second sentence in Cardboard Gangsters was wrong!!

I'd say it's automated, but there would be a proofing done on them.
'Yer man' seemed to be the one that fell through the cracks most on Cardboard Gangsters...it looks like they just jammed in something that sounded similar.

Subtitles are automated mostly now, especially on live TV shows like news.

If you check out the BBC News for example, you can see some quality mistakes going through.

If you've not seen this, don't read up on it and just watch it.

    One of my favorite flicks.

    Suprised at that.

I love that kind of genre anyways but Identity is one of the best I've seen.

Only watched it for the 2nd time within the last year and I was still guessing the outcome because It was a long time since I originally watched it.

    Great movie imo.

If you haven’t watched The Revenant yet, I recommend you do. With more lives than a cat, Leonardo plays a blinder. Loved the score too - less is more.

Just finished the first series of Happy Valley and loved it but I'm wary going into the second series. Just looking for reassurance that it keeps up the quality. For reference, I love Line of Duty but I'm worried this might do a Broadchurch which completely nosedived for me in series 2.

It keeps up the same high quality. I was very happy with it as I had been wary too.

Prolly late to the party but we finished Godless last night.

Cracking western series that's done in 7 episodes.

A nearly unrecognisible Jeff Daniels gives an astonishing turn in it.

I watched Dallas Buyers Club for the first time tonight. Incredible performances from McConaughey and Leto.

Top notch film all round, definitely one of my top 5 favourites at the minute.

Happy Valley Series 2 is probably better than the first. Sarah Lancashire is outstanding. Enjoy! :)

Watched an episode of The Moody's last night - finally I've found something something funny to watch on Netflix that I haven't watched before. After a long list of let downs (bitch in apt 23, atypical, the good place, that cartoon about puberty, that new 90s thing etc) it looks like this might actually be a funny show that doesn't make me want to throw my television out the window.

7 episodes into seven seconds. Its very good so far. Really good characters and casting and rolls along at a good pace. Reminds me of the Wire.

Watched Eye in the sky tonight. Really good movie. Great cast. Maybe in hindsight, not a Saturday night movie though. Still, well worth a watch.
