All I'm missing is Big Surf Island. Would much prefer a new Burnout.

Never took to Burnout Paradise. Burnout 2 was far better. Then 3. BP was just a mess.

I don't know about buying it again. On Steam it's already 1080/60fps. What could be any different?

    Loot boxes.

Search your feelings. You know it to be true.

Could? Higher resolution textures to justify the 4K output option.

The addition of the Big Surf Island DLC as mentioned in johnny_ultimate's post above has been confirmed as part of the press release.

I never played the DLC so it has me interested but all depends on the price. Releasing around A Way Out, Far Cry 5 and Yakuza 6 so it's dodgy for me unless the price is right.

    What's in the box:
    Burnout Paradise Base Game
    Big Surf Island
    Party Pack
    Burnout Bikes
    Boost Special
    Legendary Cars
    Cagney Update
    Toys
    Cops & Robbers Pack

£35 suggests the price is most definitely not right :pac:

    35 is way too much.

I'll just wait until it's on EA Access, plenty to be playing in the meantime.

I think it will be 40 euro, way too much for me, will wait for a sale.

Way too much for a game that's just reached a decade old last month.

The Crash remake must have opened eyes all over for developers.

Sold 2.5 million units in the first 2-3 months so they all want a piece of the nostalgia pie now.

Not to mention the zillion or so snes minis sold that are now being used as paperweights

Crash had a better reason to be remade though. The original looks like ****e today, there's very little difference in the BP remake visually to the PC version. Also Crash is something non gamers remember fondly, so they probably sold a load of copies on nostalgia alone.

It'll probably be no better than the PC version which is 10 quid

I loved Paradise. I put so many hours into it. While the change to the open world was a bad step imo, it was still really fun to play, and to learn the city to know the shortcuts. I'll probably pick this up, if it's coming to the PS4. I have it on PC but can't get the higher end of the resolutions (a great big FU to bitcoin miners making GPU's prices stupid, even for older second hand cards).

They really should have just remastered the first 3 Burnout games and put them into 1. Takedown was by far the best of the series, imo.

Some psychopath in Hollywood just green lit a cgi mixed with live action sonic movie.

    **** this universe.

I love the Sonic cartoons as a kid.

Out of the cartoons/anime, I only got to watch some Sonic X as a kid. I remember wanting a VHS of AoStH after seeing it in a leaflet. I did not know about the others back then.

I don't exactly have high expectations about the upcoming movie, especially given the reputation game-based movies have garnered in the past.

It's just for kids, I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't think I've thought about that cartoon since the 90s. Speaking of the 90s...

I was wondering when Bethesda would get around to making a Doom sequel.
