Volkswagen golf 2010 licence plate light warning

    Hello

    I recently changed my license plate lights from the normal ones to led and when i turned on the car and the lights i got the a warning to check my license plate lights.

    What do i do to clear that?

    Possibly the LEDs are drawing less juice causing the car to think a bulb is broken.

    Yeah i seen that somewhere something like that can happen.

    Do i just clear the code and that should work do you know?

    You need special canbus safe led bulbs, there is no way to clear the warning without getting the correct bulbs

    You can even get CANBUS friendly bulbs in Halfords these days.

    Buy cheap buy twice. :p

    If you go any B&M store, you pay more, but if bulbs throw out the fault you can at least easily return them.
