Why seperate sites for Electric Ireland and Electric Ireland Rewards ?

    Hello,

    Why do you have separate websites for people to log in to their Electric Ireland account, and their Electric Ireland Rewards account ? :confused:

    Why not have the rewards accessible to all of your customers, via their online customer accounts ?

    I think that one website with one logon would:
    • would save everyone a lot of time,
    • encourage more customers to consider using the rewards,
    • save Electric Ireland money with not having to host two websites, maintain two domains etc.

    Electric Ireland Online Billing and Electric Ireland Rewards come from two different systems, so this is why they cannot be integrated.

    For a better customer experience, I would have thought the websites could easily be designed or amended to facilitate one log on (to the customer account) granting access to both.

    What does "cannot be integrated" mean? That it's humanly impossible to do so (unlikely) or that you just can't be bothered given that for profit-maximising Irish utility companies customer service is generally irrelevant?
