Subs not working - iplayer on Humax 1100s

    I've had a humax 1100s for a couple of years with iplayer via a smart DNS service. In the past few days subs have stopped working on iplayer - I'm not hard of hearing but like subs particularly in mumbly bbc dramas. I've tried switching between iplayer and iplayer beta - even did a factory reset all to no avail :( iplayer subs are working on all my phone. Would be grateful if anyone with the same setup could check iplayer subs. Thx

    The title of this doesn't make sense. You should change subs to subtitles. I can't help you I'm afraid.

    Have just checked & iPlayer Subtitles working fine on my 1100s. Tested on both Happy Valley & Taboo.

    Any update on this folks.
    Subtitles still not working for me. The S button is there but when I toggle on and off there is no difference.

    Cushie what version have you on the box?

    What software version have you?
    It is in System Information under Settings section.

    On my HB-1100S the software version is UKSFAC 3.00.77
    On my HDR-1100S software version is UKSFAA 3.00.77

    Same here. Thanks. Can't understand what the issue is.

    Folks I got another email from humax. Subs are available. He told me to press the stb button at top of remote. It should flash red. Then press the red button.

    I now have subtitles.
