    Hi all,

My wife's 2010 Citroen C5 Tourer has just thrown a "Particle filter additive level too low". I'm guessing this means a topup of the EOLYS fluid? Anybody have a rough idea of price before I go getting robbed blind? Is this a dealer only job or aloud aloud should an indy be able to do it? I'm just wondering about the ECU learning the new level etc, thinking this might only be possible with dealer diagnostics...

And should I be worried that this is a prelude to something bigger with the DPF? Don't think I could face that!

Car currently has 123k KM on the clock, no idea if the fluid has been topped up before or not.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    nkay

    Hi
I recently replaced this on a C4, I was quoted €370 to do at main dealer. The fluid on a c4 is a replacement pouch which I purchased on ebay. But I think on the C5 it has to be filled with a refilled kit. You will need citroen software to reset the level to full when completed. Have a look on Youtube, this shows you how to do it if you want to do it yourself and just get dealer to reset only!!
