Switching Mortgage and Tax Relief at Source

I took out my mortgage 11 years ago with EBS. Thinking of switching, but first I want to understand if I will be able to carry over my Tax Relief at Source to a new provider. It is currently worth approx €110 a month which is more than what I will save on monthly payments by switching.

Will I be able to carry over the Tax Relief at Source?

Yes you will, you get the TRS until the date it is due to end on your mortgage regardless of lender once it is the same property and your principal residence.

Quick one of this. Will the new provider automatically apply it or do I need to contact them/the revenue?
