So Gerry gets clamped, asks gym can I have yer bolt cutters, they give it to him he does his business.... ..
Who posted the video to twitter?

Not relevant, Jerry has fessed up,paid up and owned up.

Only thing he could do, and he did it.

Have to give him kudos for that.

I think it's very relevant. The gym gave gerry the bolt cutters, video looks from the gym, and the banging music in the back round of the video was posted to twitter.

Sinn Fein made him pay up and you're right he has now paid his dues and is squicky clean now.

    Unbelievable!

A SF MLA removes a clamp with a bolt cutters and a SF supporter tries to spin it as 'something negative against SF happens'.
At least Gerry Kelly was man enough to take responsibility for his actions.

There is another video in this thread taken from a passing van showing him in action as well, did the van driver wait for him?

As for cleaning up his act, even Bold won't get that stain out!

A much simpler solution for Gerry Kelly going forward.

    mJjZ4jg.png

Might teach him not to park on someone elses property where there are so many yellow lines and clamping warning notices.

If the clamping van came back when he was cutting the clamp or parts thereof / damaging their equipment, would there have been a fight?

Given Gerry's history, that was probably a lucky escape for the clamping van guys.

He had no option. He got caught red handed.
No he has brought attention to the clamping trade/extortion by private companies north and south and clampers/people have never tested the law in the south.

who released the video, the gym or another private business?

He didn't draw attention to anything. We know about the clampers already. The video I watched was taken from a van. Might be more than one going round.

I would be of the opinion that once you put your property on or in my property then it too becomes my property and I am free to destroy it in any way I see fit. Likewise if you drop a leaflet in my door I am free to burn it or if your ball comes into my garden I am free to slash it with a stanley knife. Tough sh1t.

Law doesn't see things that way, w.r.t parking, I'm afraid. Gerry entered into a contract with a private firm, who manages that car park when he drove into it. He didn't have a valid permit to park there, so he was clamped. Anyway, he's admitted that he was in the wrong and paid up. Lesson learned and he won't do it again. Time to move on.

So keep up the good work Jawgap etc. Please be more and more obviously biased also.It dives the support up even faster!

    When the whataboutery doesn't work......

Seriously, nobody defends wrongdoing from any other party. Do you see anyone ever on here defending unionist sectarian acts.

When a thread is started on unionist sectarianism, there is nearly 100% condemnation and the thread peters out as nobody is defending the indefensible.

However, if a thread is opened on SF wrongdoing, someone is dispatched to spend the next 72 hours continuously defending SF (while claiming never to have voted for them, but is thinking about it next time) and is supported on a rotational basis by many of the others. We have had SF threads where the main person defending SF has had nearly three times as many posts as the next highest poster.

That is the difference, SF and their supporters defend the indefensible. Take a look at the McElduff thread to see what I mean. Even after he resigned, there were some defending him.

There's nothing to see from the van video, it doesn't show gerry cutting it.

And the thread starter on twitter is total ira hating person, you do know gerry saved a british army man during rioting in belfast, gerry has big bolls.

It was only released to the brit twitter account because it was gerry kelly, the gym should be investigated for a data protection breach, gerry has paid his fine, so should the gym.

the gym should be investigated for a data protection breach,.

Are you insinuating the gym took the video?

Could it not have been someone with a private smartphone?

Why yes I am, but your second paragraph has me in a tissy, it could have been a gym customer, he did ask them for the bolt cutters though.

Yes I looked again at the ra hating twitter account it does seem to be a customer alright.
You have single handly ruined my evening.

How do you know he asked them (the Gym) for bolt cutters?

Can you post an example where SF as a party defended McElduff and his actions?

They gave him a three-month holiday on full pay, a pretend sanction equivalent to defending him.

As we see with the Ellis bullying and the Gerry Kelly clamping, those who were involved with the RA are untouchable. More evidence that SF are really run by the boys in Belfast.

gerry said he did, they've one for lockers.

Ok I'll go for another angle, the only reason that ra hating twitter account posted is because it was of gerry kelly.

Er, what? He's agreed to pay the fine and for damage to the clamp. Careful now blanch, you'll spin yourself dizzy........

Didn't Enda offer his full support and declare full confidence in one of the TDs in his party after he slashed a patron in a bar with a broken glass?

    Perspective.

    gerry said he did,

Have you a link for that, that he asked for someone else's assistance /loan of an industrial size tool in damaging a third parties property?

    No problemo.

Below is the relevant paragraph in above link.

"The Sinn Fein policing and justice spokesman said he did not carry bolt cutters around in the boot of his car but had borrowed them from the gym. It, he said, used them to force lockers open when people lost their keys."

Has this thread got around to the moral implications of a Sinn Féin member actually going to a gym? I'm disappointed if it hasn't. Where, pray tell, did that gym equipment come from? Was slave labour or child exploitation involved in its production? How much environmental damage did its production inflict? How on earth can a Sinn Féin politician be allowed get away with such an abuse of labour rights and the environment like this? How can people just turn a blind eye to this outrage by a Sinn Féin member?

There's at least a Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Journalism award waiting for our online Willie Frazers in exploring the extent of this enormous collusion by Sinn Féin in the suffering of children and the environment.

Kelly has had a lot of things in the boot of his car over the years I’d imagine! Timers, fertiliser and that sort of thing.....

He probably picked up the gym habit when he was a jailbird. I expect real Socialists would regard it as a bourgeois indulgence. He would be far better off to leave the car at home and go for a run in the open air.
